The Forbidden Wilds

A thousand years of peace and prosperity for the hundreds of thousands of colonized planets in the Milky Way, is disrupted when a dictator arose in the core of the galaxy named Rage Kahn. He secretly amassed a large fleet of warships to conquer the galaxy. It took more than two-hundred years to finally defeat his forces. The finally ended, but the damage was done
The rule of law disappeared as vast swaths of space around the core of the galaxy were blasted back into primitive existence. A core of military forces to prevent any other planet from ever attacking them in the future was built by surviving colonies. It became so dangerous that I was referred to as the Forbidden Wilds.
Because of this reputation, colonies that were away from the galaxy’s core became worried that the aggressiveness of the Wilds would spill out into the rest of the Milky Way. A Central Government outside the core built a giant fleet of advanced warships to ensure their safety. And that was how it remained for three hundred years.
Until a young woman fleeing a warrant for her arrest fled into the Forbidden Wilds. What followed would have a monumental impact on the uneasy truce in the Milky Way. Jingle hoped fleeing into the Forbidden Wilds would raise her pulse rate…she got much more than she bargained. She had a knack for causing trouble but not even she could have imagined a galactic war.

All of humanity has finally been brought back together by the alien civilization in the Styx Nebulat. Civilized planets from the Wilds and the Union have combined forces to prevent the aliens from coming out of the Nebula to attack mankind’s populated planets. The Union is poised with its most advanced warships to attack anything that appears out of the dust anywhere outside the nebula. Going inside the nebula has proven to be quite another matter. Outright suicide in most cases; no warship that’s attempted to scout the nebula has come out to report. Something is going on and the longer it takes to figure it out, the more disastrous it becomes.
Jingle made it clear she wanted no future part in the war before she discovers that Alex is planning to take a scout into the Nebula. When Admiral Glennon asks her to help talk him out of it, she reluctantly agrees and once again finds herself in the middle of events and they’re not what she expected. The aliens in the Styx Nebula are no longer the only danger facing the Union. The only way to begin to understand what’s going on is for Alex and Jingle to cross the Styx. This time, the threat facing humanity has made a sinister turn for the worse.

In the third book of the series, the Galactic Union and the Canis Aliens are moving their populations into the Milky Way. Time is running out before the aggressive alien civilization of the Large Magellanic Cloud defeats the planets in the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy and turns their full attention to the smaller galaxy.
The LMC Aliens will find the civilization in Canis Major is no longer present and will naturally begin their search in the Milky Way and that will most definitely lead to a confrontation with the Union.

The Union’s Senior Admirals have started a massive construction program to build up the fleet and there is no doubt that an Inevitable War is coming. Alex and Jingle Berringer are commanding the Union’s defenses and are unaware of a new alien warship coming to meet them. Alex is going into the LMC to find out what they’re up against. Will the Union and Wilds be ready for what’s about to show up?
The war with an aggressive civilization in the Large Magellanic Cloud has been over for four years and the Milky Way has been at peace for some time as the forth book of the series opens. However, the highest levels of the Union worry of aggressive civilizations in the Andromeda Galaxy, their neighbor galaxy, and must investigate. Alex and Jingle Berringer have retired from the military but are called upon by the Prime Minister to undertake a secret mission to determine if there is danger lurking so close to the Milky Way. The mission seems simple enough; go in, look around, come back. However, what they find in Andromeda is mind boggling; the entire galaxy is preparing for war against an enemy that eradicated all intelligent life in the Milky Way hundreds of thousands of years in the past. To make matters worse, best Alex and Jingle can tell, the enemy is planning to return to the Milky Way after it finishes with Andromeda. The Union must decide what to do about the threat; no matter the decision, there is no going back; this ancient enemy has never been defeated and there is nowhere to hide.

The story continues in the fifth installation of this series in the Andromeda Galaxy with the gigantic war fleet sent from M-87 defeated down to the last warship; there were no survivors. The victors celebrated, but worried that M-87 would be sending an even larger force; it was believed that the next attack would make this one look small in comparison even though it would probably not be coming for ten years. It took combined efforts of the Milky Way and Andromeda’s Fleets to win against the unimaginable numbers that confronted them in the last invasion. With the fifty million lightyears between the galaxies, communications were delayed by years so the galaxies had time to prepare. The Union shared the blueprints on their most advanced warships with Andromeda and construction began immediately. Planets in the Milky Way were already working at maximum speed but there was great concern that both galaxies would not be able to match the construction capability of the giant galaxy they were up against. The leaders of both galaxies knew one thing for certain; no matter what happened, there was no going back.

This story is written against a vast canvass and is reminiscent of my original Annihilation Series. Sit back and watch as galaxies collide in interstellar war.

The Milky Way has avoided discovery by the aggressive civilization in the giant galaxy M-87, however, it appears that not going to last much longer. The enemy has developed technology that allows them to see through the Union’s stealth systems and new more lethal warships are being built. Making matters worse, they are focusing on the attacks coming from M-85 and have planned to remove them before focusing on Andromeda. If Andromeda falls, the Milky Way will be next and both are possibilities are devastating. The Union has not been idle, they are developing new technology, but there are limited numbers of pilots who possess the skills needed to fly the new warship and time is running out. The final confrontation is inevitable and the Intergalactic War is coming. The allies are still heavily outnumbered, this story will hold your attention to the last page.

Even if you’ve not read the other books in the series you’ll find this one very entertaining, a Space Opera tale that will hold your attention on every page. The war between the three Galaxies and M-87 ended ten years ago and peace prevails. Some say it’s boring but Jingle Berringer is enjoying the best time of her life. After fighting wars in and out of the galaxy most of her life, spending all her time with her children and grandchildren along with being a professor at the Fleet Academy fills her with joy. But…in the back of her mind a small fear lingers. One day her husband persuades her to go on a quick mission with him. She reluctantly agrees and discovers an advanced alien warship has appeared in M-85; he was assigned the mission to go confront it. Jingle has little doubt that this warship came out of ‘The Big Black’ and was certain this was anything but good news. Things quickly got out of hand and close to impossible. Jingle was determined to stay out of war and live a perfect life. But the military leaders were in over their heads and she could clearly see it.

The universe can throw things you never see coming, the results can be devastating and explosive. I hope you enjoy the ride.
